Delhi, India — The World Human Rights Research Council has appointed Dr. Jyoti Zongluju of Law Chambers, Delhi, India, as the International President, General Cell (F).
The appointment followed a review of her qualifications and professional experience, according to the council.
In a statement, the organisation said Dr. Zongluju is expected to strengthen its work in line with its rules, principles, and objectives.
The World Human Rights Research Council said it remains committed to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including the investigation of human rights violations, human rights education, legal aid, and public awareness aimed at promoting equality, justice, freedom, and human dignity.
Her identity card number was listed as 00000000008, with validity until 31 March 2027.
The council said it looks forward to her contribution to the protection and promotion of human rights globally.
