A 30-year-old All Progressives Congress aspirant, Mahmud Sadis Buba, popularly known as Abin Al-Ajabin Zazzau, has completed the party’s screening process for the Sabon Gari Federal Constituency seat in Kaduna State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Buba’s appearance at the screening venue attracted wide attention online, with many social media users reacting to his youthful looks and ambition to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives.
Dressed in traditional attire, the aspirant appeared before party screening officials, where he answered questions about his age, educational background, family and political plans.
He confirmed that he is 30 years old and the firstborn of nine siblings. Buba said his decision to enter the race followed calls from members of his constituency who urged him to serve.
“People called me to serve them, and I will serve. I am not doing this for myself,” he said.
The aspirant, who said he holds a NECO certificate, is seeking to challenge the current House of Representatives member representing Sabon Gari Federal Constituency.
Buba is also known as the chairman of the “Tinubu–Uba Sani Agenda ’27” support group and recently purchased the APC nomination form.
Political Context:
His emergence has renewed public discussion about youth participation, educational qualifications, political inclusion and the growing demand for younger voices in Nigeria’s leadership space.
Conclusion:
As the 2027 election season gradually approaches, Buba’s candidacy is likely to remain a subject of public interest, especially among Nigerians calling for greater youth representation in elective offices.
